AAt this time of year, with Valentine’s Day upon us, we’re all encouraged to think about the ones we love. Beer Club number nine was no different as we looked at the beers you love. And this Beer Club really was all about you and your chance to tell us and your fellow Beer Club-bers why those beers you cherish mean so much to you. Is it because the beer reminds you of a happy memory? Or that it’s the first brew that got you interested in beer? Or maybe just because it tastes so good? Turns out it’s all of those, and much, much more.

LLast night was our very first Beer Club. Acclaimed writer Pete Brown took over the Beer For That Twitter account between 7pm and 8pm and we asked you to have your burning pale ale questions at the ready. You totally delivered. We received hundreds of tweets from around the globe enabling Pete to offer his expertise on pale ale history, food matches, characteristics, alternatives and much, much more.
